Shipping Protection is Now a Certified B Corp and Holds the BV ESG 360 Seal

Assessments analysed the company’s policies, processes, and practices in social, environmental, and governance dimensions.

São Luís, December 2025

Shipping Protection announces the attainment of two significant recognitions in its corporate responsibility journey: B Corp Certification and the BV ESG 360 seal. After audits conducted by independent entities, the company leads the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy in the Brazilian maritime agency sector, resulting from an evaluation analysing policies, processes, and impact evidence in governance, workers, community, customers, and environment dimensions.

Created in 2006, the B System certifies companies that demonstrate, through documented evidence, practices aligned with its criteria. The process involves analysing objective parameters and requires proof of compliance in the assessed areas.

“The certification reinforces the organisation and transparency of our internal processes in social, environmental, and governance dimensions,” states Renato Lemos, ESG Coordinator. “It is a result that recognises the team’s work in meeting the established evaluation criteria.”

In addition to B Corp Certification, Shipping Protection also received the BV ESG 360 seal, issued by Bureau Veritas, following an audit conducted according to criteria defined by the organisation. The assessment considers the maturity level of policies and processes related to ESG themes, through verification of documents and adopted practices.

“The BV ESG 360 provides us with a structured technical diagnosis, contributing to improving our management and organising our policies in line with market demands,” states the spokesperson.

The two recognitions reinforce Shipping Protection’s strategy to enhance its internal standards and consolidate a culture of responsible governance in its operations in Brazil and abroad. The company continues implementing initiatives focused on operational safety, socio-environmental practices, and service aligned with the maritime sector’s contemporary demands.
